Realme Flash Tool To Release This Month For Android 10 (Realme UI) Devices
Realme has seen massive growth since the past couple of years and there seems to be no sign of slowing down. The company’s latest flagship — the Realme X50 Pro is set to receive the Android 11 Beta update as early as next month.
In the past, flashing the latest update on Realme devices has been a tad tricky. This is because the company uses OZIP files rather than the standard ZIP files to flash an update manually. Thus, users would have to convert the OZIP file to a ZIP file before trying to install an update.
Fortunately, this is not going to be the case for long. Realme has released the Realme Flash Tool which will let users flash the OFP format file. Thus, installing updates manually will be a lot easier if users make use of the Realme Flash Tool.
Currently, the tool is only available for the Realme X50 Pro. However, in the #AskMadhav episode 17 video, the CEO for Realme has confirmed that the tool will be available for all Android 10 (Realme UI) devices in the future.
This tool will allow users to rollback to older Android versions as well. Although, at the moment users will not be able to rollback from Android 10 to Android 9 Pie. This tool will come in handy for Realme X50 Pro users who plan on installing the Android 11 Beta update next month. It’s common for beta software to carry a ton of bugs and glitches. So having the option to easily switch back to a stable Android build is great.
