The Galaxy S11+ Renders Might Not Be Accurate

A few hours ago, we saw possibly one of the worst ever designs for a smartphone rear camera housing. The Samsung Galaxy S11+ renders revealed by OnLeaks via CashKaro show off the rear and front of the device. Based on these renders, it seems Samsung completely forgot how to design a camera housing for their flagship.

The Galaxy S11 Plus might have 5 rear cameras if these renders are believed to be true. However, what bugs us the most is the size of the rear camera housing and the complete lack of symmetry. Several users took to Twitter to voice their opinions on the leaked design of the S11 Plus.

Of course, most opinions were harsh given how the camera lenses are all over the place. Moreover, there seems to be a pretty significant camera bump as well. However, noted leakster — Ice Universe posted a tweet claiming that the Galaxy S11+ renders aren’t accurate.

This gives us some relief, however, we might just have to wait for future design leaks or for the official launch. It’s possible that the Galaxy S11+ renders don’t give justice to the actual design of the phone. Moreover, renders aren’t always accurate since they are mockups CAD drawings most of the time.

Nevertheless, the Galaxy S11 series would be launching in a few months and we’re still excited to see what Samsung has to offer. These are a few ‘alleged specs’ of the upcoming Galaxy S11.

  • 6.7-inch, 120Hz AMOLED display.
  • 108 MP primary camera + 5x Optical zoom lens + Ultra-wide.
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC or Exynos 990.
  • 8GB RAM (base variant) or 12GB RAM (top end variant).
